Dancers Ink

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide students with a positive, fun and challenging dance experience.  Dancers Ink offers all disciplines of dance, while building self-confidence, social skills, endurance, strengthening and flexibility.

Dancers Ink welcomes all students interested in dance classes.  The faculty at Dancers Ink will encourage and guide each dancer based on his or her goals and interests.  With ballet as the root of all dance, it is strongly encouraged that students enroll in one ballet class a week in addition to their discipline of choice.

Whether dancing for recreation or see dance in their future endeavors, students are offered a variety of dance styles through two programs. Although not mandatory, all students are encouraged to participate in the end of the year recital to take place in May/June.

These classes will be available to students ages three to adult in levels of beginner to advanced.  Opportunities for community performances will be available to select classes. [/box]

[box] Competition team is for the more involved student.  This program will require students to enroll in ballet, jazz, technique and strength.  It will be strongly encouraged for students to enroll in elective classes such as lyrical/contemporary, tap, and hip-hop.  Students interested in competition team will be required to audition at the beginning of the dance year.  The placement of students on team will be based on audition tryout, student’s age, and growth potential.  A higher level of discipline and commitment will be expected of students on Dancers Ink’s competition team.  Opportunities to compete in local and regional competitions along with community performances will be available to students on competition team.
